Those Damn Crows
Welsh rock band Those Damn Crows is set to release their highly anticipated fourth album, God Shaped Hole, on April 11th via Earache Records. Ahead of the release, they’ve dropped a new single, The Night Train, which showcases the band's signature style with powerful melodies, evocative lyrics, and a captivating refrain.
The song was inspired by frontman Shane Greenhall’s vivid dream, in which he was reunited with his late father and relatives. Greenhall describes the song as a metaphor for a nightly journey on a "night train" that takes you to visit loved ones who have passed away, creating a sense of both longing and comfort.
Accompanying the release is an animated music video, a first for the band, which was created in collaboration with animator Marco Pavone. Greenhall notes that the video tells the story of the song like a "bedtime story," where the dream world offers a brief reunion with lost loved ones.
